New Revelations on Assassination of Hezbollah's Leader

During an interview, former Israeli Minister of Defense Uzi Galant revealed new details about the elimination of the general secretary of the "Hezbollah" party, Hassan Nasrallah, following an airstrike in southern Beirut. This occurred at the same time when a new video of the operation, which took place on September 27 of last year, was released.

In the interview, Galant mentioned that when he was presented with a plan for the elimination of Nasrallah by senior military leaders, he asked them about the likelihood of the operation's success, and they assessed it at 90%, after which he indicated to increase the number of explosives needed to carry out the attack.

Galant told Israeli Channel 12: "As soon as I got there, the initial staff, who commanded the IDF and others, presented me with a plan to liquidate Nasrallah, asked where he was located and something similar... I asked them: what are the chances of success? And they answered: 90%."
