The Israeli army required that residents of three districts in the southern suburbs of Beirut evacuate their homes before impending strikes, which would hit buildings in these areas.
"You are located near objects and establishments belonging to the Hezbollah party, against which the army of the selected forces will soon begin to act. For your safety, you must immediately evacuate buildings and neighboring establishments and distance yourself from them at least 500 meters," - is quoted in a statement by the representative of the Israeli army Avivah Adrai.
The points subject to evacuation are marked on an attached map.
