The Israeli army has issued an evacuation order for a large part of the city of Tyre, in southern Lebanon. It is estimated that more than 14,000 people reside in this area, many of whom have been displaced from other areas of the southern Mediterranean country. The Israeli military spokesperson in Arabic, Avichay Adraee, specified that the evacuation is necessary for those located in buildings on certain key streets of the city.
"You must immediately move away from the area marked in red and head north of the Awali River," Adraee mentioned, providing a map with the affected sectors marked in red. This measure is part of the conflict that Israel has maintained with Hezbollah, which has intensified since late September and has already claimed the lives of more than a thousand people. In the last 24 hours, Israeli forces have carried out ground and air attacks, eliminating around 70 alleged Hezbollah militants.
Additionally, targeted incursions have been conducted in southern Lebanon against the group's infrastructure. Among the attacked targets are command centers, weapon depots, and Hezbollah manufacturing plants in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which constitute a stronghold of the group in the Lebanese capital and have been frequent targets of Israeli bombings.
