The President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, announced new negotiations with the International Monetary Fund regarding discussions on financing the recovery program. This decision comes in light of recent economic and political problems faced by the country.
The Lebanese government hopes for support from the IMF in developing an economic reform plan aimed at correcting the current financial crisis. The goal is to strengthen the country's economy, stabilize finances, and improve the well-being of citizens.
"We are focused on dialogue with the IMF to find a way out of our current situation," noted President Aoun. He expressed hope that negotiations with the fund will help Lebanon overcome financial difficulties and return the country to a path of economic growth.
