Geneva - Reuters. The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Thursday that some hospitals in Lebanon could run out of life-saving first aid supplies within days due to a shortage of supplies after the significant human losses caused by large-scale Israeli airstrikes the previous day. Abdel Nasser Abu Bakr, WHO representative in Lebanon, stated: "There is a shortage of some supplies for treating injuries, which may run out within a few days." He added that life-saving first aid supplies include bandages, antibiotics, and painkillers to treat injured people from wounds resulting from the war.
