Hundreds of people attempted to enter the village in southern Livan on Sunday morning, despite the imposed measures of restrictions due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the country. Most of them were forced to return due to strict safety measures.
However, despite the restrictions, some managed to sneak into the village, causing a stir among local residents and authorities. Local officials were concerned about the potential increase in the number of infected as a result of such incidents.
One of the local residents commented, "We must protect our village and our elders from the spread of the virus. These restrictions exist for a reason, and they need to be followed."
Authorities urge people to comply with safety rules and restrictions to prevent the spread of the virus and protect vulnerable populations from contamination.
