Violence in Lebanon Claims 22 Lives

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health of Lebanon announced that at least 22 people had been killed by Israeli armed forces. Hundreds of Lebanese are urgently evacuating areas of the conflict zone.

Witnesses reported that the strikes occurred on the border between Israel and Lebanon. Armed clashes have caused panic among residents, who fled to safe places, trying to escape the shelling.

"This is a dreadful attack on a civilian population that is already suffering from a complex political situation in the country," said one of the survivors.

Countries around the world have called for international intervention to stop the violence and restore peace in the region.
