The Israeli army announced this morning that it had successfully struck Hezbollah targets in the Bekaa Valley in southern Lebanon.
According to the Israeli army, the strikes were carried out in response to an attempt to attack Israeli military positions from Lebanese territory. As a result, no casualties were reported, and the military returned to the secure zone.
"Israel is not inclined to tolerate violations of its sovereign territory and preemptive attacks on its citizens," commented a military representative.
