The authorities of Livansk created an extraordinary assembly in the morning in response to two officers being injured in the result of a clash between demonstrators and the police. This was reported by the ministry responsible for internal affairs of the country.

One of the officers was injured in the leg, and the other in the arm, after demonstrators began throwing stones and glass bottles at the police. The clashes occurred around the parliament building in the center of the capital.

"We condemn such incidents of violence and attacks on law enforcement officers," stated a police representative. He also emphasized that the authorities are determined to ensure any manifestation of violence and maintain public order.
