The residents of Lebanon began to return to their devastated border areas in the south of the country on Tuesday morning. They are accompanied by the Lebanese army, after Israel, in accordance with an agreement with the parties of Hezbollah, withdrew its troops from the south of the country, leaving under control five strategic points.
One of the returning residents said: "This feeling of joy is indescribable. We returned home after decades of separation." People hope that the return will mark the beginning of a new life in their homeland, but they acknowledge that restoring the destroyed villages will require time and effort.
