President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, confirmed yesterday, on Thursday, that corruption has become part of the culture and will not be eliminated without consequences. Aoun expressed his determination to fight corruption, which, according to his opinion, has become a widespread phenomenon in the country. "Corruption has become part of our culture and infiltrates state institutions, and the only solution to confront it is strict and rapid accountability," according to the statement of the President of the Republic.
