The President of Lebanon, Michel Aoun, made his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia since assuming the presidency in 2016. The goal of the visit is to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the visit of the Lebanese leader to Saudi Arabia, various issues were discussed, including the political situation in the region and economic cooperation. Both sides expressed hope for further development of partnerships and cooperation in various areas.
At the event dedicated to the visit, the President of Lebanon emphasized the importance of support from Saudi Arabia for Lebanon in various sectors and thanked for the hospitality. "Our visit is aimed at strengthening our relations and cooperation in various fields," he noted.
Concluding his stay, the President of Lebanon left Saudi Arabia, expressing confidence that the visit will become a new stage in the development of relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
