The Lebanese Army announced in a statement on the "X" platform that today, Thursday, a serviceman was returned, who was detained by Israel on Sunday.
The serviceman was detained not far from the border of Lebanon with Israel. According to reports from Israeli military sources, he was discovered and detained outside the safety perimeter established beyond the border. At the same time, the Israeli army noted that the investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
"We are working on the issue of the officer's return," they commented on the situation in the Israeli army.
