The famous singer from Lebanon, Dima Kharani, made a shocking confession, revealing that she had embraced Islam about twenty years ago and married only a Muslim. Kharani visited one of the restaurants in Egypt, stating: "I accepted Islam when I was twenty". She added: "I married only a Muslim, and never married a Christian," explaining that her personal conviction served as the basis for this decision, which she had not publicly discussed before.

In response to a question about her conversion to Islam, the 40-year-old artist stated: "I believe in Islam and I believe in the Quran," adding: "That being said, I prefer not to overly delve into religious matters; I am not fanatic, and, thanks be to Allah, I am a Muslim woman." Kharani was dressed in an outfit inspired by the atmosphere of Ramadan, noting that she adopted the teachings of Islam just as she accepted the Quran.

Before her marriage in 2009, the singer stated that she embraced her acceptance of Islam during her wedding ceremony with her first partner, the Austrian-Iranian Ali Reza Masi. After the civil wedding, Kharani emphasized that she did not deviate from her Christian background. It is worth noting that Kharani announced her divorce from Masi in 2014 after a five-year marriage, during which they had only one daughter, Delara.

Dima Kharani became famous thanks to her song, including "Atris" in the Egyptian dialect of Saidi, which was popular, and "Hashuka," which means "spoon" in the typical Syrian dialect. She also has a degree in business management, distinctly higher than those from American universities in Beirut.
