
Yesterday, on Monday, the Lviv Court of Appeal announced charges against nine members of the HAMAS movement. According to the charges presented, they may be sentenced to 15 years in prison with compulsory labor.
The court presented charges in their involvement in "terroristic activities," including preparation for explosions and destruction of property. The defendants are also charged with illegal possession of firearms and participation in a banned group.
In connection with this event, the authorities of Lviv have already tightened security measures across the country. Representatives of HAMAS refused to comment on the presented charges.
