Lebanese President Joseph Aoun confirmed that Lebanon is awaiting Israel's response to the proposal to negotiate for the liberation of land. The President emphasized that Lebanon is open to dialogue but remains firm in defending its territorial rights. "Lebanon is waiting for Israel's response to our proposal for negotiations," Aoun stated. He added that any decision must be based on respect for Lebanon's sovereignty. Earlier, Lebanon proposed to Israel to start negotiations under the auspices of the UN to resolve the border dispute.
