He was wearing blue trousers, a white shirt, and dark sunglasses. When the court asked him to remove his glasses, the artist stated they were medical and necessary for his vision, and that removing them would make it difficult for him to see anything.Fadel Shakir had voluntarily surrendered to Lebanese military intelligence on October 4th at the entrance to Ain al-Hilweh camp, where he had been in hiding for over 12 years. At the time, he explained this surrender as a settlement to resolve his legal issues, however, the military court's delay in setting a trial date raised doubts.
