Lebanese sources have revealed a new challenge facing the army, following official statements about the imminent completion of the first phase of the weapon seizure plan. According to sources, the army has encountered new difficulties in implementing the plan, which aims to stop the proliferation of weapons in the country. These difficulties are linked to resistance from some political factions and challenges in border control. Nevertheless, authorities continue to insist on the need to implement the plan to stabilize the situation in Lebanon.
