Lebanese President Joseph Aoun reiterated on Thursday his call for a ceasefire and negotiations with Israel to end the war. He emphasized the need for immediate steps to establish peace in the region. Previously, Aoun had repeatedly appealed to the international community for mediation in resolving the conflict. According to him, only a diplomatic path can lead to stability. "We are ready for dialogue under any conditions," the president stated. This statement came amid escalating tensions on the border between the two countries.
