The Israeli military command expressed its condolences in a statement released today, on Monday, following the firing in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths of three soldiers from the Lebanese army.
"We regret the incident that occurred and the loss of Lebanese soldiers. We understand the seriousness of the situation and will inform about what happened," - says the statement from the Israeli army.
The incident occurred after the explosion of two designated targets aimed at the destruction of militant positions in Southern Lebanon. As a result of the shelling, conducted in response, three Lebanese soldiers were killed, and seven people were injured.
