UNIFIL emphasized in a statement that it strongly condemns this aggression and considers it a serious violation of Security Council resolution 1701, which aims to establish a stable environment between Lebanon and Israel. It expressed its disapproval of any actions that jeopardize the safety and security of UNIFIL personnel.
