On Sunday, the Lebanese Army announced the death of two soldiers, blaming Israel for the direct shelling of a military object.
One of the soldiers was killed, while the other was injured as a result of an attack on a point monitored by the Lebanese Army in the region of Kfar Shuba on the border between Lebanon and Israel.
"The Israeli attack that the enemy carried out across the southern borders of the country is considered a serious escalation and an attack that violates the sovereignty of Lebanon and the unity of its territories," said a statement issued by the Lebanese Army.
