UAE Sends 23rd Relief Plane to Lebanon

The international airport of Beirut has received its 23rd humanitarian aid plane from the UAE as part of the campaign "UAE Stands By Lebanon." On board were 35 tons of medical supplies, including advanced medical equipment, supplies, and essential medical provisions for hospitals and medical centers across the country.

"The need for medical supplies, equipment, and provisions in light of the crisis has been more acute than ever," noted one of the representatives. The commitment to providing aid to Lebanon continues, and the 23rd humanitarian plane is part of a series of assistance deliveries from the UAE by air and sea.

The "UAE Stands By Lebanon" campaign began in early October of last year and includes both official government assistance as well as support from the community. Since the start of the UAE campaign, they have continued to deliver large quantities of humanitarian supplies, medical supplies, and equipment for shelters, although the campaign concluded in the first week of January.

The UAE continues to provide assistance to those in need under the guidance of local and international organizations and humanitarian agencies in Lebanon. It should be noted that the country will continue to provide support not only to Lebanon but also to all peoples suffering from the aftermath of recent conflicts and disasters.
