Israeli Airstrike in Nabatieh Injures 14

As a result of the Israeli airstrike, carried out in southern Lebanon, 14 people were injured, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday. The first strike was conducted on a means of transport, reportedly carrying weapons, while the target of the second strike is still unclear.

The Israeli army confirmed in a statement that it attacked transport means belonging to the "Hezbollah" group, and stated that they had transferred weapons in the surroundings of the Nabatiya region. Sources in Lebanese security agencies reported that the second strike was carried out near a nearby locality.

Caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati condemned the Israeli strikes and stated: "This aggression constitutes an additional violation of Lebanese sovereignty and an open violation of the regime of cessation of hostilities."
