On Sunday, the Livan Army announced the death of three servicemen as a result of an explosion of munitions during their transportation in the southern part of the country.

According to preliminary data, the incident occurred in the province of Al-Khayyam when the munitions were being transported to a warehouse in one of the military units. As a result of the explosion, three servicemen were killed, one more was injured and taken to the hospital.

"Four members of the crew exited the vehicle to check the cargo, in which there were artillery shells. Suddenly, an explosion occurred, which led to the deaths of three people and the injury of the fourth," the message from the army states.
