Model and actress Angy Morad, former Miss World Asia in 2017, recently passed away in Lebanon due to health complications after giving birth to her second child. Her husband, Samer Hakky, shared an emotional statement lamenting her loss: "I cry for my wife, my lover, my life partner, who left me with a broken heart after her departure. We belong to God and to Him we return."
Angy's mother, Annie Orfali, was the one who reported the tragic event, explaining that the young woman was afraid to take medication due to her fragile health. Although it was initially thought that she was only suffering from inflammation, Angy was transferred to intensive care due to serious pulmonary complications arising from pneumonia.
The childbirth had severe consequences for Angy's health, leading to a viral infection that ultimately cost her life on February 14. The model, who also left behind a four-year-old daughter named Mabella, was remembered by her husband and family with love and gratitude.
In her mother's words: "That turned into a severe infection, neglecting her health." Samer Hakky also expressed his grief over the loss, honoring the memory of his wife and the mother of his children. Angy Morad, at 33 years old, leaves a legacy in the world of entertainment and beauty, being remembered not only for her title as Miss World Asia but also for her generosity and love for her family.
